The Ideal Candidate
Epidermal Leveling is safe for use on all skin types and tones. Both men and women will experience a smoother, brighter appearance after an Dermaplaning treatment. The ideal candidate will understand the procedure, have realistic expectations, and be in overall good health. Not recommended for people with severe acne. You can not be on Accutane.
The Procedure:
The Epidermal Leveling treatment will take about 45 minutes in the office. To begin, the aesthetician will cleanse and prep the face. Next a blade is meticulously drawn across the face. Each movement of the blade is similar to shaving. Once the entire area has been treated, patients are able to return to their normal activities.
Recovery Time:
There is little downtime after an Dermaplaning treatment. Clients can return to school or work immediately. Initially, the face may be slightly red, although this will quickly resolve. Should another procedure, such a Chemical Peel, follow the treatment, specific at home instructions will be provided.
For optimal results, it is recommended that client repeat the procedure once a month. Add-On procedures, such as an RevePeel Chemical Peel or Dermalinfusion can be added to increase the benefits and maintain the newly acquired, youthful complexion.
